The Vallbo Foundation will participate on 9, 10 and 11 November 2022 in the XXIV Congreso Español de Toxicología and VIII Iberoamericano that will be organized in the rectorate of the University of Córdoba. Members of the foundation will be present at the stand to answer queries from interested parties.
In addition, the Vallbo Foundation will present the results of a study that evaluates the effect of natural preservatives on flora and ruminal fermentation.
For this experimental study, sheep were used to which two different types of diets were administered in order to evaluate if the addition of these extracts had an effect on the composition of the flora and ruminal fermentation, once the substrate was ingested by the animal.
This project was carried out jointly with the Animal Production Department of the UCO and during the Toxicology Congress members of the research team will present the results.
The congress is organized by the Spanish Association of Toxicology (AETOX) and the thematic sessions of the different Sections of the AETOX will show, through conferences, round tables, as well as oral communications and posters, the main scientific advances and problems of each one of them. The purpose is to achieve an environment of cooperation and exchange of knowledge between the participating groups.
